Choosing a location for portraits can be an overwhelming task, as there are such beautiful and unique spots all around us, to utilize for scenery. Sometimes it’s the spot thats right in front of us, that we don’t even consider, which makes the perfect backdrop to tell a story….our home! Many of us don’t live in our homes for decades, so documenting some very special portraits on our own property helps to preserve the space we felt comfort in, the space that was filled with our family’s love and memories. Ian & Stefanie have a beautiful home and with some discussion on lighting, we selected the perfect time of day to capture their family right amongst their own little nest.
