This beautiful family was getting ready to welcome a 3rd baby girl into their world. They originally selected Beeks Bight at Folsom Lake, in hopes of utilizing a sea of purple lupine wild flowers, which bloom late each spring typically. Unfortunately, when we showed up to the lake, we found out that Beeks Bight was closed, due to high water level, so we improvised and used my favorite beach area at the lake instead! I was blown away by the water level this date because I had just been to this same spot a couple weeks prior and there was a ton of sand and beach visible. However, we had a beautiful evening and captured these gorgeous shots with the serene lake and its surrounding rugged terrain.
