My first time to Sand Harbor was a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of photographing two beautiful families! It was an interesting weather day. Gorgeous, hot, sunny, hot, did I mention hot?! Supposedly high of 77 degrees, but I say “I don’t think so”. LOL! However, the weather did almost a 180 in a matter of minutes during my second session (blog post to come). It was still nice out, but all of the sudden it became breezy, thunder and gray clouds! That was when we put a little pep in our step with photos, needless to say, haha.
So my first session was with the lovely family below…Jerrod, Janet and Hailey. Hailey is 18 months old and cute as a can be. She has a fun little personality, but just like most toddlers her age, she likes to check out the surroundings before she gets cozy. Once she realized we’d let her explore and play with the sand during her shoot, she was a happy camper and she gave me some very contagious smiles =) Then it was all fun and games from there…she even played a little peek-a-boo with me <3 Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon in Tahoe, for a session!
