I have been photographing for Liz & Andre (and their little Emeline) for a couple years now and last year they decided to gift Liz’s family with a portrait session! It’s not often and so difficult to gather everyone together, to coordinate something like this, with work schedules, kids schedules and all the every day life tasks in between, but they made it happen on a gorgeous day last spring!
We discussed location options and Liz loved the idea of UC Davis Arboretum for the beautiful scenery and because it was a nice convenient location for everyone. I love their blues against the greenery, so pretty … and well blue IS my favorite color! It was super fun to meet the rest of Liz’s family and photograph for them and I’m so glad they were able to get together to have these portraits done because our kids and families grow so fast and before we know it, 5 years, 10 years have passed….
In my family, documenting our lives is so important, to be able to look back on, but also to be able to pass down as my boys get older. I know Liz’s family will cherish these photos and love that they have them to look at every day on their walls and in photo albums. And I guarantee the kiddos in these photos will appreciate having these as they get older as well <3
