{McColm Family} Livermore Family Photographer

Spent the day with my BFF and her family and the garden we visited was so pretty, we had to take some pictures!!!  I look forward to our family day every year.  Life is just so busy for everyone, especially with our kiddos and their sports or extra curricular activities.  We don’t get to see each other very often, but when we do, we pick up where we left off <3

{Connor: 1 Year} Old Sacramento Child Photographer

This little guy is super sweet and smiley, as well as super serious.  He definitely is checking everything out around him and when he’s comfortable, he cracks a beautiful smile that lights up a room <3  Didn’t Connor look quite dapper in his little bow tie and hat combos?!  I love these photos so much and choosing Old Sacramento for his session was such a great call by mom and dad.  Connor is heading towards his 2nd birthday by now, but I can still remember his adorable newborn photos like they were just a few weeks ago <3

{Cory & Felicia: Married} Bay Area Wedding Photographer

You know you’re getting old when you watch (& photograph) your friends son getting married … and you remember when he was in elementary school, lol.  Cory is the son of one of my good, long time friends Mindy.  Mindy and I have known each other since 1998, which just dawned on me that this year makes 20 years of knowing each other!  Time flies!

Mindy has two grown boys, both of which, now I have had the opportunity at photographing for, for their weddings {<—click there to see Brandon’s wedding reception photos} <3

Cory & Felicia said I Do’s at Our Lady of Grace Church in Castro Valley last March (yes, I’m still playing catch up on blogging, haha) and celebrated the event with a reception at the San Ramon Marriott.  They had such a fun bridal party, huge families, lots of smiles and laughter filled their day and it was such an honor to document this special day for good friends!

You might remember my post previously about how Cory set up a portrait session at Baker Beach in San Francisco, we met there and what Felicia didn’t realize, was that Cory was going to propose during that session and have it all caught on camera <3  It was so cold in the city that day, but because of it, we had the beach to ourselves, which made his proposal that much more intimate.  It is obvious they have a fabulous relationship filled with spark and smiles, love and laughter!

Thank you again, for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful wedding celebration Cory and Felicia!

{Maeve: 1 Year} Quarry Park • Rocklin, CA Photographer

This sweet baby girl is about to turn two and here I am posting her 1 year portraits, lol.  Well, better late than never.  Maeve’s session was photographed at Quarry Park in Rocklin, which is such a fun spot for portraits and you’ll notice I shoot their often, but there are so many varieties of backgrounds and textures to use that no two sessions are identical!

Maeve is full of life and smiles, very curious and so so so cute!!!!  And of course her momma always dress her and her sisters in all the cutest boutique outfits for their portraits.  Cuteness overload!!!!

{Belskey Family} Quarry Park Rocklin • Sand Harbor Beach • North Lake Tahoe

This sweet family had a two part portrait session last year.  The first part was at Quarry Park in Rocklin, which included some of their extended family (grandma and auntie).  But it just so happened they wanted to do some family beach portraits when I was already going to be up in Lake Tahoe over the summer, so we ended up meeting again for some gorgeous Tahoe portraits!  With the exception of the water level being extremely high, making it to where there was almost no ‘beach’ to work with, I absolutely love this location!  We were able to capitalize on so much even with the high water level and their portraits turned out so beautiful, colors so vibrant and the weather and lighting was just perfect!!!

Chloe and Tripp were such troopers for photos and by the end of the beach session, they were playing in the water and posing all on their own.  I always love photographing for my friends <3
