Tim and Adaria are a super sweet couple! We had some weather issues when we were trying to schedule their Engagement Session and as this crazy CA weather has not been ‘normal’ for the time of year, I was crossing my fingers for great weather on their big day. It was a little chilly in the morning when we arrived at Wine & Roses in Lodi, BUT, it turned into a fabulous day for their beautiful wedding! Crossing fingers DOES work!
They chose to do a ‘first look’ where we stage a meeting between the two of them prior to their Ceremony, so as to work on their Bridal Portraits and Formals earlier in the day. It worked out fantastic because we caught the best light of the day during that time and I was thrilled! Tim mentioned to me early on when we first met up that he was open to having a photographer be able to walk around the backside of the Ceremony to capture more shots of them from other angles. That isn’t something we can do normally, so when I arrived at the Ceremony site and saw what he meant, I was excited to shoot more than just the back and side angles. Brian manned those, while I took a spot just behind where the pastors spoke, off to the side a little, so I could capture Tim and Adaria’s facial expressions throughout the Ceremony. Probably one of my favorite Ceremonies for that reason alone. Like I said, it’s not often that we have the opportunity at capturing those ‘vantage points’ of a Ceremony and with the great lighting, beautiful couple and so many priceless expressions between the two of them, it couldn’t have been better!
Here are some of our favs from Tim and Adaria’s day. Njoy!
