Grandparents don’t get the spot light with their grand babies very often, when it comes to professional portraits that is, unless an extended large family group portrait is requested. This session was specifically geared for the first and only (so far) grand baby in the Peterson Family and her over the moon grandparents!
My good friend, Carol, whom I’ve posted to the blog a couple times in the recent months, had a baby in May. Sweet and adorable little Makenna got to be in the spotlight with one grandma on her daddy’s side and a grandpa/grandma on her mommy’s side in some special grandparent portraits shortly after her birth (1 month old). And I guarantee those pictures will be well loved for years and years. I have a few pictures with my grandparents as a baby, but not many and not that young. Sometimes we don’t think of the importance of having these memories captured until later….and we can never go back in time. Makenna is very lucky to have so many grandparents…not all were available to photograph this time, but hopefully in the near future, we can get the others photographed as well! Njoy these sweet grandparent moments =)
