I have a connection with every client I work with. I get to know them, they get to know me. We chat, become friends and then work together on intimate levels as I capture some of the biggest milestones they go thru. I have the lucky job to freeze moments in time so these families can remember these milestones forever and always <3 I’ve said it a million times before and I’ll say it again…I LOVE my job!!!
But there are always families that I connect with on an even deeper level and sometimes I can’t pin point what it is, but we just mesh and it’s like we’ve known each other for years. I felt that connection with Edward, Ana and Eleniz, in the first 5 minutes of chatting with them, when we met at the Babies and Bumps Event in April. They are such a sweet, down to earth and fun loving family! They showed excitement for wanting to capture their beautiful pregnancy (& newborn) milestone and I love when people are excited about portraits because thats exactly how I am with my own family milestones =)
Their special day arrived and we met at William Land Park in Sacramento, for their Maternity Session. Ana did such a fabulous job with their outfits and putting together a very intimate, soft and vintage style for the three of them, I loved it! I was in awe while editing their gorgeous pictures. I emailed Ana mid-edit and just said I didn’t know how I was going to narrow down my artist faves because I loved so many of the different looks we photographed, haha! This family…so beautiful, inside and out…it is a pleasure to be a part of this special time in their lives and I’m super excited to meet Analia in July, when they come into the studio for her newborn session!!!
