I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it. The 18 month stage is one of my favorites! So much change happens between 1 and 2 years of age, so it’s really nice to capture the progression of that change. Physically, mentally, emotionally, everything … they are such collectors of information and so curious, which adds to their growth. To me it feels like light years difference between 12 and 18 months. I remember how much growth happened for my own kids, with understanding situations, responding to instruction or guidance from their parents, knowing how to communicate more, speaking even more in depth with emotion and with their actions in addition to their words. Not everyone chooses to capture this stage, but I get giddy with excitement when a family does =)
