It has to be maybe 2007, when I met the Fabers. At this point, I’ve been in business for 15+ years and I’ve always been good with numbers and dates and timeframes, but the years are starting to meld together on me, so I get my years mixed up, haha. It’s been a long time, thats what I know! I’ve documented their engagement, wedding and all their two boys milestones. Every year I love getting together with them during the fall. We catch up, have a great time creating fun portraits and then grab some dinner afterwards to catch up some more. I love my clients turned friends <3
This session was particularly fun for several reasons.
1.) I did some research and found this amazing park area in Pleasanton. It was beautiful and had so much to offer a photographer. How the heck did I not know about it when I lived in the Bay Area for 25 years, lol?!
2.) The lighting. I mean, we can get great lighting at so many locations, but combined with the great features of this park, I was in love with how the lighting fell on us, love, love, love!
3.) Every year Elise and I work together to create one or two unique ideas for their holiday cards, in addition to capturing some nice annual family portraits. I loved the roasting marshmallow setup we did during this session. It was literally the perfect location and setup for this! And of course, the PJ pic…always a fave of mine!
