I’ve had a Bride & Groom in the past, who’s middle names were both Dale. It’s not a common name, let alone something you hear much for both men & women. That was pretty unique! But then a couple years ago I met with Danni & Danny … yes, both of their names were Danni. I mean Danny. Or either way, it’s the same name. I think that almost topped the Dale name in a way because it’s more common in general to have the same middle name as someone else, but to have the exact same ‘nickname’ as your significant other…is well, unique and confusing for the photographer, when directing, LOL!
I photographed their Wedding and had a blast working with them! We’ve kept in touch since then and found out last year that they were expecting! I always love to hear when my brides are expecting because it’s an honor for me to have the opportunity in capturing the most memorable moments in a couples life, starting with the Engagement, then their Wedding and when they start a family…their beautiful Newborn Baby! So we (Nicki and I) were super excited for Danni & Danny!
A few weeks ago Danni emailed me saying they had their little boy and wanted to schedule his Newborn Session ASAP. So we got them in the Studio and although little Ben, like many other Newborns, was a little fussy at first, not wanting to sleep for us, when he finally DID Fall asleep, he was awesome! We photographed him in several fun little setups and it was definitely well worth the time and patience spent to have this cute little man pose for us! Here are some of my favs, Njoy!
