Naulani has been in front of my camera many times over the past few years, as I captured her biggest milestones. I have loved watching and documenting her personality as she continues to grow into a little girl. She loves to do her own thing, explore, twirl in her dress and she’s not a bit shy when it comes to the camera. This session was also documenting one of her big brothers as he was making the jump from junior high to high school, another big milestone for this sweet family of 7 =)
I hadn’t photographed at McKinley Park in Sacramento in a very long time, so it was a breath of fresh air to try a new spot! If you’re looking for some greenery, some floral (there is a rose garden) and some texture (like the brick building), this is a great little spot, easy to get to and with so much variety, it was a fun place to work with. The only thing we had to watch for when near the pond….you’re probably thinking it….yep, duck poop, lol.
