{Murphy Family} Sand Harbor Beach • North Lake Tahoe Photographer

I always love photographing at Sand Harbor Beach in North Lake Tahoe!  It’s a gorgeous location and especially beautiful in August/September.  We hit a perfect weekend for this session because it was not super busy, which makes it easier to get some beach shots.  The past several years, the lake has been so high, the beaches are smaller, making it very crowded with people, packed in like sardines!  September is, in my opinion the best time to go because it’s after school starts and that means usually most of the big vacationers are gone.  Keep in mind (I found this out at a later session, whoops!) but there is a permit required to shoot here….but worth the fee in my opinion!
