I have my favorite spots to shoot in the Sacramento area, but sometimes it’s hard to find time to drive around and hunt down new places. I had photographed a very long time ago, near the State Capitol, but it wasn’t one of my normal locations, so when Melissa suggested it to me, I was excited for some new scenery!
The gorgeous driveway in the first photo with the State Capitol building in the background is just one of many spots on the park grounds that make beautiful scenery for portraits. When I saw the succulent garden, I about died and went to heaven! The coolest, biggest succulent plants to use as texture and interest in the background. I loved it!
Can’t wait to head back there again for more shoots!
