We improvised, thats what we did! Colleen and Keith were just days from their maternity session when she ended up in the hospital and on full bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. She was totally bummed to have to miss capturing this beautiful milestone. I knew it needed to happen one way or another, so I offered to shoot at the hospital. To some, shooting portraits at a hospital might sound unappealing, but it was part of her first pregnancy journey and a great opportunity to document her maternity milestone, as well as tell a story behind it.
I’m so glad Colleen opted to do these because truly they are gems they will cherish forever!
Little update…a few days later Colleen gave birth to a beautiful baby boy a little over a month early and he was quite the trooper for being so early! They were home and enjoying their family of 3 in no time at all =)
