Closing in on the 2015 Fall Portraits here on the blog and I remember this one very well! It was the only day I believe I was possibly getting rained out of my sessions for the season. My morning session had to reschedule due to rain, but the forecast reflected no rain around 1pm, 20 minutes of rain at 3pm and then by 3:30pm it was supposed to be sunny and clear skies. I like to wait til the day of my sessions if possible, to make the decision on rescheduling because the weather forecast can be a bit unpredictable.
So glad we held out because I was able to get this beautiful family and one other, photographed this day in mid November! And I love the wet ground in the pics. It adds some shine and some depth to the photos, for an added effect.
