It’s the family portrait time of year, if you couldn’t tell by many of my posts lately…and yet still more to come! The Fischer Family welcomed their first baby girl into the world over the summer and I had the pleasure of capturing sweet Gianna’s Newborn milestone =) But these littles grow so fast, they decided they didn’t want to wait til her 6 month session for more pics…so we met up for a fall family portrait and added a couple other special family members in as well, grandparents!
I love grandparent/grandchildren pics. Such special memories to have and be able to look back on. I’m lucky to still have MY grandpa around, turning 94 in January and it’s very important for me to always get a pic with him every time we visit, as well as a pic of my son with him (his great gpa)! I think this session is an extra special one to have photographed because it’s not often I get to photograph those special grandparents out there … so today, I post these pics and since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I’ll say today that I’m thankful for my grandpa, the smarty pants, who is still quick witted, makes me smile and laugh and whom I am lucky to call my Papa!
