I was very fortunate to have had an opportunity in not only photographing Evan and Camille’s engagement and wedding, but also to have worked at the Soda Rock Winery, in September 2018. It is incredibly sad how much damage and loss a fire can cause in so many ways. The Soda Rock Winery was hit by some of the scariest fires we’ve had in California in the past year and while it’s amazing that their ceremony barn is still standing (#thankful), they lost their larger event center building where they housed many wedding receptions, their winery, some cottages and more. The destruction I saw in photos, took my breath away. I’m so glad to have documented all of its beauty for Evan and Camille’s wedding, so they will have such fond memories to look back on, of one of their biggest life milestones at this gorgeous location <3
This adorable couple was nothing short of fabulous to work with. I have known Evan thru a few other weddings I’ve photographed over the years – friends of his – and I remember the day he approached me, as he was a groomsman in one of those weddings I photographed. He wanted my business card because he knew his girlfriend was “THE ONE” and he was already set on having me a part of their day! WOW, what a compliment that was!!! Thank you Evan!
Evan’s personality is very bubbly, very energetic and very sarcastic – thats my kind of client, lol. And Camille is incredibly smiley and sweet (she laughs at Evan’s jokes and rolls her eyes while smiling – I do the same with my husband, lol) – both are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and they were a blast to work with. I can’t wait to continue documenting their lives as their family grows =)
