Important fact…I’m a HUGE Disney fan! No, it really is important, haha. Disney is so awesome, it’s my home away from home and if there’s one very common thing that a lot of my clients and I share, it’s being HUGE Disney fans! So the day I found out that one of my long time clients was naming their 3rd little (1st boy) Elias, a big smile was put on my face. Many of you probably know, but some of you might now, that Walt Disney’s middle name was Elias. I think that sharing a name with Walt Disney is super cool because it’s such an original name, not often heard, as well as meaningful to little Elias’ family, since, yes, they are HUGE Disney fans too, haha!
Now on another note, Nick and Helen have also chosen all “E” names for their kids, so they have Esme, Ella and Elias. Don’t try to say those names 10 times fast because it’s a tongue twister, haha. And I will forever mix up Esme and Ella’s names when I’m talking with them, not because I can’t tell them apart, but because the wrong name slips out as I’m working quickly to gather their attention and stumble over my names, LOL. Luckily (& hopefully) I’ll be able to keep Elias’ name straight in my mind since he’s the boy with a boy name and my brain shouldn’t want to mix up the girl names with his =) I’ll do my best!
So Elias…what an incredibly sweet baby boy he was <3 He slept super good in the studio and only needed a little consoling towards the latter part of the session. The session took 2.5 hours and thats it! Some of you are thinking “thats it? Isn’t that long?” but no, it’s actually quite short for a Newborn Session. That time included family portraits too! Elias rocked the studio that day and we had a lot of fun with his setups, several of which were Disney inspired … and very fitting for the occasion =) Check all his cuteness out right here!
Side note: Elias’ nursery theme is Monsters, Inc. Disney…Monsters, Inc…..I mean it doesn’t get much better than this, right?!
But, better yet, to commemorate Walter Elias Disney, whom created the one and only Mickey Mouse in 1928, Elias sported some Mickey attire….this is perfection, simply perfection <3
