The end. Yep, this first picture was the end of Bradley’s session….Bradley, being the 1 year old, haha, so lets back up a few steps.
This adorable little football fan, taking after his daddy, turned one and we documented his milestone at one of my favorite locations; UC Davis Arboretum. There are so many beautiful spots on campus, you just can’t go wrong. We started out with Bradley’s “1” balloons and worked our way thru the various outfits and props. The last part of his session was the cake smash, yay! It took him a minute, but once he realized what it was, oh yeah, he dug in. But lets back up to even a couple years prior to this … I had the pleasure of photographing Keith & Colleen’s gorgeous wedding at the Fairmont San Francisco and the one thing they didn’t do was get messy with their wedding cake.
Now lets fast forward this film roll to the first photo below. There’s bound to be an opportunity in ones life where cake will be smeared on your face, lol. Bradley’s 1 year session was that opportunity for Keith and Colleen.
